Why Should Kids Have All the Fun?
The Great Falls Public Library is proud to announce Book Buzz,
the library's first Adult Summer Reading Program, running
June 9 - August 15. Anyone older than 18 with a library
card can participate and library cards are FREE to anyone who
lives in Cascade County.
Participation is simple. For every book read during Book Buzz,
participants will be able to submit an entry. Entry forms will
be available at the library. A weekly winner will be drawn each
Friday. We will hold five of these drawings live on the radio
and announce winners on Q106, SAM@ 107.3, and
KIK-FM, 104.9, as well as in the Play section of the Sunday
Tribune. The winners will also be posted at the library. On
August 15, two grand prize winners will be drawn from all
of the entries submitted throughout the summer.
Prizes will include hardback books, t-shirts,
book bags, and stainless steel coffee mugs. The
two grand prizes will be free library parking for one year
and an iPod donated by the
Friends of the Great Falls Public Library.
Book Buzz is a celebration of the joy of reading. Come
join the fun!
On Display
Elephants 'n' Donkeys, an exhibit by the Thursday Morning
Artists (formerly the Thursday Morning Drawing Club)
through the month of June. The group, which features ten core
members, returns to the library each spring with an eclectic mix
of art.
Also continuing through June is The Hope & Opportunity
Photography Exhibit, featuring photography from the Homestead
era of Montana. This exhibit is built from the broad collection
of imagery and memorabilia held at the Overholser Historical
Research Center and the River and Plains Society Museums,
both of Fort Benton. This community collection of photography
belongs to the people of Fort Benton.
Register Early for Free Computer Classes!

for the season in June with two classes; on the 1st and 3rd Monday
of the month, from 5:00 - 6:00 pm, on the second floor of the

has been capped at 32. Anyone interested in attending needs to
