Library Cards and Check-outs
There is no charge for a library card for
residents of Cascade County. Non-residents are charged
$30.00 per year.
Regular user cards can check out materials
for 14 days.
Senior citizens may check out items for one
month. Up to 20 items may be checked out at one time. Certain
restrictions apply to new library cards.
Overdue fines are as follows:
Interlibrary Loans $1.00 per day
All other items 10¢ per day
Any lost or damaged materials will be billed to the patron
account, including replacement charges plus a processing fee.
Materials may not be replaced by the patron with a comparable
item. Damaged materials that are part of a set may require payment
for the cost of the entire set.
On-line Catalog Special Features
After obtaining a PIN (personal identification
number), a library patron may check personal records for fines
and holds or may renew items by home or library computer. Please
