Audience: Children ages 5 to 12 years and their families/caregivers
Enjoy snacks and a story from a storyteller, a local author, or library staff. Kids are welcome to bring a blanket to get comfy while listening to the story. Some of the oldest stories in the world are riddles. Listen to riddle stories from around the world, and see if you can solve them!
Miss Rita has been telling stories since 1980. She was a member of the Booking Bikers, a Nevada storytelling group. They traveled the state each summer telling stories and distributing free books. She was also a member of the team that created the Bristlecone Storytelling Festival for students in the Clark County School District in Nevada.
