Patrons can keep materials for up to 28 days.
The Library now has automatic renewals of items that are eligible for renewal, including: items that do not have holds and items that have not already been renewed twice. When items are renewed automatically, patrons will receive an email saying that their items have been automatically renewed with the new due date(s). Any items that are borrowed from any Partner library will be automatically renewed if eligible.
Library items may be returned in the book-drop located at the first floor circulation desk and outside on the east side of the building.
Holds can be placed through your library account online, through our Library App, or by calling the Library at 406.453.0349. When your hold is available for pick up, you will be notified. We send notifications via email and text if possible. If no email is provided, we will send notification via mail. If the items are in and on the shelf, please allow the Library at least 24 hours to fill your request. Items will be kept on the hold shelf for 8 days. You may pick up your holds at the 1st floor circulation desk or at our convenient pick-up window on the north side of the Library (in the alley).
We do not charge late fines. If you have overdue items, you will not be able to check out more items. If an item is lost or damaged so that it can no longer circulate, you will be charged to replace the item—generally the cost of the item plus a $5.00 processing fee. Please note that we do charge for replacement copies after items are overdue for 60 days.
