Dr. Lesley Johnsen joins us in the Cordingley Room to discuss ‘Accessible ways to support the body and mind through the winter season.’
Lesley is a Doctor of Acupuncture and ICF-credentialed Transformational Coach with more than 20 years of experience in integrative medicine. Throughout her career, she has supported individuals navigating chronic pain and illness, mental health challenges, addiction, and a wide range of other health concerns.
She is passionate about empowering individuals and communities to take an active role in their health and well-being through natural, practical approaches. Blending ancient wisdom, modern science, and the principles of positive psychology, she encourages people to return to the simple foundations of good health.
In her community talks, Lesley shares accessible ways to support the body and mind through the winter season, focusing on the everyday essentials of nourishing nutrition, regular movement, natural herbs and supplements, and simple lifestyle practices that build resilience and support overall wellness.
Her philosophy is simple: staying healthy doesn’t have to be complicated or expensive. Small, consistent steps can make a meaningful difference, and we don’t have to navigate the journey alone. With the right knowledge, encouragement, and support, we can feel empowered to care for ourselves naturally throughout the winter and beyond.
