Author Leslie Budewitz reads from and talks about her newest book at the Library! In her new title All God’s Sparrows Budewitz tells stories about women’s lives, seasoned with friendship, food, a dash of history, and a heaping spoonful of mystery. Budewitz is best known for the Spice Shop mysteries set in Seattle’s Pike Place Market, as well as the Food Lovers’ Village mysteries and historical short fiction set in her native Montana. As Alicia Beckman, she writes moody suspense set in the Northwest. A three-time Agatha Award winner and past president of Sisters in Crime, she lives in Bigfork, Montana with her husband, Don Beans, a musician and doctor of natural medicine, the ghosts of half a dozen dogs and cats, and untold numbers of deer, bear, and chickadees.
