Q: How do I place a hold using the Montana Shared Catalog App?

Follow these steps:

  1. Open the Montana Shared Catalog App and login. Enter your library card number (no spaces) and your pin.   The default pin is CHANGEME.   Please call the Library 406-453-0349 if you need help with your pin.
  2. Search for the item in the catalog.
  3. Find the item and click on PLACE HOLD
  4. Choose your pickup location. (Choose Great Falls Public Library or the Bookmobile depending on where you plan to pick up your item.)
  5. You will be notified by mail, email or text when your hold is ready. If you chose Bookmobile as your pick-up Library, you may pick it up from the Bookmobile.  If you chose Great Falls Public Library, you may pick it up at the first-floor circulation desk or at the pick-up window.
