Teens hold an important role at the library. Between helping them share their individuality, to sparking discussions about what the future of our community should look like, we’re here to help teens thrive.

Summer Reading

Improve school success!  Read and learn with us throughout the Summer.

This summer The Adventure Begins at Your Library!

Dungeons & Dragons

Make friends and explore the depths of your creativity during our popular Dungeons & Dragons teen campaigns at the library!

Library Loot Boxes

We’re sorry! Sign ups for Loot Boxes 2024 are now closed. Sign ups for 2025 will begin in May.

Teens 12-18 are invited to sign up to receive a free Library Loot Box as a part of our annual Summer Reading Program. Each box contains 3 Library books individually selected for each reader, plus some prizes and candy to sweeten  their reading. Readers who complete at least 2 of their 3 Loot Box books will earn a chance to win a big prize, such as a Nintendo Switch OLED gaming system.

Teen Scene

Studying can be tough, especially when distractions are everywhere around you. At the library’s Teen Scene, you can find a quiet, distraction-free area dedicated just for studying.

Library Field Trips

Attention teachers and others who serve kids and teens: Contact Youth Services staff to schedule a field trip!

Youth Services staff are available to lead an in-person or virtual library tour, research support field trip, or hands-on craft or STEAM event for your group.

We provide a fun field trip experience free of charge while sharing information with you and your students about the resources and programs we offer to keep reading skills strong this summer. We look forward to hearing from you!
