Great Falls author Carol Bradley

On October 15, local author and former journalist Carol Bradley talks about her newest book Twisting in Air: The Sensational Rise of a Hollywood Falling Horse in the Cordingley Room at 7 pm. It is free to attend. Bradley also will have copies of her book available for sale and to sign at the event.

Twisting in Air: The Sensational Rise of a Hollywood Falling Horse tells how an extraordinary group of horses learn to fall on cue in Western movies and chronicles how one of them, a quarter horse mix named Cocaine, overcame a debilitating injury to become the fastest of them all.

Carol Bradley spent 26 years as a newspaper reporter in Tennessee, New York, DC and at the Great Falls Tribune. After studying Animal Law as a Nieman fellow at Harvard, she began writing books about animals in the U.S. Twisting in Air is her third book.

Bradley also will have a launch party on Thursday, Oct. 10 at Annie’s Tap House in Great Falls. That event starts at 6 pm.
