The Great Falls Public Library is excited to partner with the Little Shell Chippewa Tribe, The YWCA-Great Falls and our keynote speaker Jen Murphy to present an evening of events dedicated to spotlighting the efforts to remember and educate our community about Missing and Murdered Indigenous People on May 5.

The Great Falls Public Library Board of Trustees on November 14 named Amy Dissmeyer the new Great Falls Public Library Director. Her first day at GFPL will be Jan. 5, 2026. 

GREAT FALLS, MT — The Great Falls Public Library Board of Trustees will hold public meetings on November 13 and 14 to interview finalists and potentially select the next Library Director.

Thanks to funding from the Great Falls Public Library Foundation, the Great Falls Public Library launches Kanopy for library card holders starting on July 1!

As Tax Season begins for 2025, there are some changes happening with Tax Help Montana and the GFPL. 

The GFPL cordially invites the public to watch Free for All: The Public Library starting at 6:30 pm on Tuesday, April 8. It is free to attend in the Cordingley Room. Doors open at 6 pm.

The GFPL Adult Summer Reading Program ends on Saturday, August 17 with an After Party celebration at Annie's Tap House at 112 Central Ave from 5 to 8 pm.
